Rear mats damp

Hi I have a bora and just noticed rear mats are damp checked the front and they seem ok and can't seem to see where it is coming from any ideas please

open the doors and by the hinges there is a black nipple. This becomes blocked and therefore renders them useless and they end up storing water. By giving them a squeeze you should get all the cr** out and you should have cured the leak. Do to both sides and then dry out the footwells...

I have the same problem with my golf. Where is the nipple you talking about.. My left rear mat is soak with water. Just happened about two days ago after the heavy rain. Could I have the same problem?

i cant see a nipple on mine just a big black bung with a little hole in

Nipple is just below the top hinge. Every mk4 has them.
