get the front on axle stands, follow the pancake pipe (which is the flat one behind the driver side caliper) follow it back to a rubber pipe that one is prone to pop off the clips are rubbish (use 2 jubilees together if needed, someone did this on mine, cheers Nick at Carbon  :wink: )

Then infront of the plenum chamber the one attached to the throttle body there is a black metal plate infront of it that holds the dipstick, under this there are a load of pipes prone to splitting (if in doubt look for oil leaks in that area)

Just a quick update.  After getting a recommendation of a local VW specialist I took the car to the garage this afternoon.  In no time at all the mechanic found two hoses completley disconnected due to a worn clip.  Replaced clip and reconnect hoses and job done!

I now have a fully functional turbo again  :smiley:
