owts possiable but im gonna say its gonna be super hard. mk5s have can bus dont they? and it all runs through the raido as silly as it may sound. a mate of mine put a after market radio in his mk5 and the obd port wouldnt work lol no comunication to nothing! put standard radio back in it works. and mk4s dont have can bus i think.  dont want a mk5 raido anyways just go get a nice double din thingy

and agreed with the above post, would be much more hassel than its worth. get a decent aftermarket one, chances are the amount youde spend getting a mk5 head unit to work in a mk4 you could proberbly get a cracking aftermarket head unit
