Some low life scum has stolen both my number plates!!

Happening more and more now not only due to petrol thief or career criminals,but so called normal people cloning the same vehicle as not to pay mot tax insurance..

Wife had a friend that this happened to only found out after the police informed her that she had been involved in a hit and run,she had to get a written letter from her manager informing them that she was at work at the time of the crash and couldn't possibly have been sixty miles away from where the incident took place.think the other motorist tried to claim off her insurance too,its a bit vague now as its over a year ago now..

My dad got his tax disc nickd off his bike at thruxton last month at bsb. Think some was trying to clone his bike

Maybe now would be the time to invest in a cheap set of private plates?

As you are inevitably going to be pulled up with some frequency over the next few weeks, I would keep some form of proof of ownership of the vehicle with you to make things nice and simple.

"Do you know why we have pulled you over?"
"Yes officer, I reported my registration plates stolen, here is my licence, insurance docs and V5 to prove I own the car."
