hi people i have had this problem sorted now it was the crank shaft sensor i now have another problem i cant seem to select any gears on my hydrolic clutch does anybody know if it is down to the oil or the clutch oil thank you paul
crank shaft sensor went on mine as well, annoying things! for being unable to select any gears, check the mk3 maintenance & info link on the mk3 section, has tons of guides and questions answer, can just search. check if you've got the appropriate amount of gear oil, or it could possibly be that your gear selecting mechanism is out of alignment, there should be a line coming out of the gearbox, sometimes covered with a rubber boot, which is the gear selector. if it's pushed too close to the gearbox, or pulled too far out, and then tightened up you won't be able to reach gears. but definately check that maintenance section on this forum!
