Had jets flying around Wycombe last night, I was out having a fag with my housemate as they started flying around.
I couldn't see them but the noise was so loud, nothing like the sound of the jets I used to see in the Welsh valleys when on holiday (and yes, I'm aware that High Wycombe is not the Welsh valleys, so there will be a difference in sound 
)

Command HQ had a few complaints in about the Typhoons burning off excess fuel over HW by spiralling with reheat on. What's with sad nothing better to do people complaining over the defence of the country. In the local area, not one complaint so far over the noise. Infact, we've been letting the saddos in to take photos of them on the stands.

If I read your post correctly I feel you are correct. People should embrace what is 'basically' the defence of 'our' country. How often do you see a Tyspoon on reheat...NOT OFTEN. Treat your self to a few snaps I say
