Get some Second Skin sound deadning and cover both inner and out skins. Water tight and less road noise.

What's this stuff then?? Done it to yours?? any pics??

You might want to rip that carpet up and dry the soggy under lay or you will have a hole in the floor by next year

I've stuck a couple of those Pingu moisture trap bags in mine to soak up the damp!

its super (and i mean super) sticky tinfoil tape, used by builder electricians and boatyards, it's absolutly ideal for the task, quite fragile when you peel it off but as soon as its stuck down good luck getting it off, i did a couple of layers to strengthen it up. I got it on a builders clean a few years back, my zs membranes are stuck on with this stuff aswell!

Best method I used was some silicone sealant instead of tape, and some damp proof membrane from B&Q.

Sorry I ment Silent Coat which is another sound dead sheet.

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/silent-coat-mat-bulk-pack.html

Thats the bigger bulk pack which does the whole car. Personaly I would rip everything out, dry the whole car, deaden the dooors (inner/outer) and the floor.

No pics but made a huge difference in road noise and I dont have any misty windows when it rains. No more messing around with the duck tape that always comes off.
If you are on a real budget then roof flash tape from DIY stores.

i've been planning something like that, starting to get some surface rust inside and under the floorpan, nothing at all serious as it stands but gonna have to nip that in the bud sooner rather than later!
