Last person to service your car over filled the oil.
It would appear your still unfamiliar with the workings of your engine there and I suspect this may be your first of many such threads, in which case you should lose the attitude when asking for advise and valid suggestions are given.

No amount of servicing will stop oil getting into the combustion chamber, this assumes the last person to service the car is competent.

dont flush a petrol turbo ffs and i amongst others would say to service oil around every 3000 miles just a thought for you  :wink:

This. Engine flush lunches turbo seals.

i amongst others would say to service oil around every 3000 miles just a thought for you  :wink:

I get about 10,000 before mine starts to need a change, and up to 15,000 before it really needs doing. But I almost exclusively do motorway miles though.

Id be doing it every 5 minutes if I changed at 3000  :grin:

just got me a reconditioned cylinder head which im collecting tonight

wanna put new piston rings in aswel at the same time just to be on the safe side but cant seem to find em online anywhere, any ideas chaps? 76.50mm i think

Get yourself to GSF mate.They do them.

Ive just done a full head rebuild on her 1.6 16v.
16 valves
Headset(inlet,exhaust,downpipe,cam seal valve stem oil seals,head gasket)
10 new stretch bolts
oil filter
5w30 fully synth oil (5l)
Cambelt kit
Water pump
Plugs
5l G12 coolant

£412.36 inc vodka and tonic.

yeah lapping 16 new valves in was fun! :angry:
Now ive got to figure out if the cps has gone.
