Afternoon,
My partner has an 04 Fiesta Petrol 1.25... Its on 80k and has rarely been serviced although runs surprisingly well. I thought i would check the water last month and i noticed that the expansion tank was empty... bone dry. I obviously filled it back up and topped it up once the air leaks went.
After one month i checked the water again and its back to empty. It took nearly 2litres to fill it back up to max. However the car isnt overheating. I have checked all the pipes and cant see a leak. I have checked the oil and cant see any """"mayo""" in it.
Any ideas of what would cause it to loose water that quickly? Radiator hole?
