i have a fault code 17695 but cant find it on rosstech,i found it in the garage section on here but no description of what it might be,all it says is 17695 P1287 Turbocharger bypass valve open,what does this mean anyone cheers

at a guess sounds like it means the dv

Have u checked wether its stuck open ??? Pull off the vac pipe I had one once were the vac pipe was pulling vacuum to open it but then collapsing so holding the dv open for 30-40 secs then it would be ok again check the dv isn't some how stuck open aswel
aum no spec as no matter what i do il never be happy

I have bypass dv faults stored before no sure why doesnt bring cel light on so never bothered with it and driving of cars never changed.

had a look at it tonight looks ok,not overly sure what im looking for tho,and checked all the pipes some of them might have been nipped up to tight with the cable ties i put on so i changed all them.also not sure if maybe the engine cover is squashing the top of the dv when the bonnet is closed
