Wiring for boost gauge
« on: 28 January 2012, 14:09 »
Hi all,

I have an electronically controlled boost gauge, have managed to plumb in all the vacuum line, I hope! Now I am stuck as to where the wires connect to, I have read about tapping into the dimmer switch, using the grey and blue wire, then the other one find a suitable earth. Is this correct?

If so is the type of connector that I am after for splicing it to the grey and blue wire

Please help...I think it may rain soon  :undecided:

You can use the dimmer switch or the same blue/grey wire on the headlight plug behind the switch. Stick a ring terminal on the end of the earth wire and use one of the bolts next to the fuse box
