She has the MOT due on it a couple of weeks is this something that would cause a fail? I have a multimeter to test it...if I can find it  :angry:


a multimeter will only tell you if the battery has lost a cell or isn't holding a full charge. I'd have said the alternator was on the way out.

A slight issue with the missus' Clio, apart from the fact that it's a Clio. You start it up and the lights seem to fade, come back to normal, perhaps a little flicker, fade then back to normal. It does this only on start up, ie once you've driven a mile or 2 is stops...Any rough ideas?
