I bought a TSR kit for £500 from E-Bay for my Mark1 Cabby. It makes driving a whole lot more enjoyable. Ratio drops from 3.3 to 2.7. I think the track control arms came in a Nissan box.

I thought MK1 + power steering = bigger wheels.

oh yeah - my arms aint skinny........ I reckon it will be a good project.  TSR £1000 kit is toooo expensive and I agree its not worth it. £1000 at the gym is better spent. I reckon I can get power steering in a MK1 for less than £250. Watch this space..........

How much bigger are the wheels you're getting ?

Dinx has 17s on a cabby without power steering and she's a girl !
......now officially dubless.

What this space - http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=35644.0

Should having final pricing by the end of this month (March 06) on what full power steering kit will be to buy as parts and what we will charge for install - trust me it will be alot cheaper than TSR kit and properly better - will be showing it at shows this year...

Actually it was going uphill, i was already rolling - downhill towards a rangerover which obviously wasn't stopping (typical rover driving c^nt) so i had to do a bit of a swift manouver
