Recently bought bright white canbus 501 LEDs. When installed they flashed three times stayed on for five seconds then went out.
Replaced the old blue LEDs and they now flash three times whenever the ignition is switched on and work ok after this.
Now the thing that puzzles me is the blue LEDs were working fine for months before this.
Just waiting for a new set of 501s to be delivered so fingers crossed
