You might want to remove the throttle body and give it a mighty clean.

Doing what you want to do of running a silicone pipe with the induction kit is just going to cost a lot for little/no gains. Not worth the effort and money.

Easy. There are 4 allen bolts holding it on. Just remove the accelerator cable and any vacuum pipes, and be careful peeling the throttle body gasket off as you'll want to reuse it or buy a new one if the old one is very old. Use carb cleaner or petrol to clean the throttle body with a toothbrush (old one ofcourse).
