i want to install a carputer in my mk3 just wondered if anyone had done it and where you think best place for 7" touchscreen would be ?? I was thinking move switches and heater controls and put it there

Got mine from linitx.com.   They do all the car PC power supplies too so it switches off with ignition off etc.
