But replacing will cost u over £100 with your old one as a trade in, so cleaning it for free/ cost of contact cleaner is worth a shot

They are / can be a lot cheaper from Bosch direct, mine was.

how cheap? i have a spare one kicking around so will give that a clean and see how it goes!.just a bit worried as it looks quite delicate :smiley:

They are, hence many are broken during attempted clean ups.
