mk2 golf comp fitting? audioscape???
« on: 23 August 2011, 03:42 »
Newly acquired mk2, however previous owner had bad taste in car audio i.e. 6x9 in parcel shelf and alpine type E's in the dash section.
On the positive side I've had a look and a owner prior to him must have bit a bit of an audiophile as the boot and doors are deadened :) result.
However current doorcards are not even cut to fit a speaker and as I'm not hand with fibreglass was wondering if anyone knew how I could get my hands on a pair of audioscape door pods or any other suggestions.

Search eBay as they come up now and again, but failing that there is a guy near Portsmouth that does a door pod based around the original mk2 one.

He reinforces it and creates a baffle to accommodate the woofer of your choice.
