DAB aerial plug
« on: 23 June 2011, 15:05 »
When installing my new dab headunit I somehow managed to snap the long pointy bit in the DAB aerial connector on the headunit, the bit the DAB aerial plugs into. It looks like it just screws in/out so is it possible to get new ones of these from somewhere? Tried to find them on google etc but cant find anything

cheers

I've literally just come across the same issue as you mention when my Blaupunkt dab headunit  was damaged in the post.
What I've learnt is that the connector is a male smb coaxial adaptor (bulkhead type) which is threaded and passes through the stereo casing with a retaining nut on the rear.
I think I've found the type on eBay but I'm not 100% sure, how did you get yours sorted?
