Im wondering if my mk6 GTI has now had an ECU update after it went in the last time to attempt at fixing the interior rattles as the power delivery seems different from what i remember.


Maual gearbox:
If im in 3rd gear at 30mph and put my foot down to the floor.
Theres a hickup for about 0.5 seconds like a cut in power, then the power comes in.
Then when it gets to 3500rpm it seems to come in harder again.


Im sure it was very smooth power delivery before with no hickup or extra pull at 3.5K. :undecided:


Maybe mines started to suffer the mk6 famous fuel pump fail? Or it was just remapped by VW? or its just changed with more miles been on the clock.

It sounds more like an issue with your plugs or coil pack.... this is similar to what mine had before the problems began.


Dont rest until it is sorted by VW  :lipsrsealed:
