Rear Caliper Guide/Slide Pins Question
«
on:

On my rear passenger side i have the below 2 slide pins
The squared off one has no play in it left to right when fitted but the other does. Is this supposed to be loose like this as I've tried 2 identical second hand pins of the top type and they do it as well......
So my question is should the pins be tight in the pad carrier but move in and out and should the squared one be in the bottom or top ?

they should have little play. Try swappin them around. I think the bores in which they sit in wear, which is gay, as VW only sell the carriers and pins together.
