Best to phone a company like C&R enterprises and ask for advice.

Just a bit of advice, my mate had a 1989 GOLF GTI 16v he lowered it 50mm on 205/45/16s and it was catching when there was 3 people in the car.

Only when hitting a small bump on the road, on the flat it was ok, but where do you find really flat smooth roads.

Are the springs 30 - 35mm lowering?

I would stay away from sachs springs, especially if they are from GSF.

I would say it all depends on the ET of the wheels, if they are the same as the standard fit wheels you willprobably get away with not rolling the arches.

Most after market wheels are wider to make the car look better and as such will rub on the arches, 60mm is a lot to drop a car.

I would fit the fronts and see how low it goes! If the ride is ok then do the backs. Good luck  :)
