Yes in a way, setting the camber on a mk3 is easy.

anybody used these before?  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230607298087&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Look like standard replacements to me.  especially since 1.75 is the normal amount of adjustment anyway isn't it?

they are cammed bolts, which means you know how much camber is being added or subtracted by turning the bolt. I suppose the washer has marks on

Washer doesn't have marks. I have them but not used yet. Got them for my other car that seems to not want to give much adjustment on one side apart from very -ve.

the slim bolts would do the same for you, the cam just gives controllability so you can say, turn 180deg and know you have added a certain amount of camber without having to measure

Would they work on a mk2 as I thought the bolt holes were the same on mk2-3 suspension?

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

You really should be able to get -1.75 camber on a G2/3 on G3 OEM bolts.

Not only through adjusting these bolts, but using the bolts at the bottom of the strut, too.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
