Remove oil filter, disconnect water hoses, remove the nut, remove oil cooler.
Its pretty simple.
The gasket is just an o-ring seal, it will cost a couple of quid at most.

Hi guys, I've suddenly got an oil leak on my abf.

I can see from underneath it's dripping off the filter housing, but from above the filter.

Had a good look and the filter isn't leaking, all sealed nicely.

Looks like it maybe from one of the joints in the housing.

Is this common? Any ideas where I should be looking?

Hi, I had the same problem on my 16v with the ABF it has a known fault of shaking the oil filter loose so check that and re tighten.
