cheers lads, i appreciate what you are telling me but when i pour water on the turret it comes inthrough the wiring grommet, so it muct be running off the turret inheavy rain. I cant see any holes in the bulkhead.

water wont get on the turret with the bonnet shut tho!

it might be that the cable grommets are out of position, they are a right slag to get seated properly. if you take the dash under tray out and get in the footwell you can see them, wiggle about till the lip seats properly.

maybe you have a rust hole under the wing near the a pillar, its a common problem on the mk2

yeah il check there but im pretty sure that its solid there, i really dont get it at all, thanks for the advice
