quick hand brake question

just been looking for some guides and came across something that id thought id check ,

are there 2 hand brake cables? in all the posts ive read the op has said 'cables' so i assume its one for each rear caliper?

ive already bought one so do i need another?

the one ive bought is:

I would also like to know the answer as mine is fooked, currently leaving it in gear everywhere i go   :sad:

x2 and my MOT is end of may so need to sort as much as i can now, car makes a funny noise when braking so goign to replace the pads and disks when i get paid, getting some mk3 calipers from a guy on ed38 so fingers crossed that solves it

Yes.  Each caliper has its own cable.  If you pull back the carpet covering the handbrake you will see the threaded screws holding them.  This is where you adjust the length/tension also.
