Its not the hole for the lambda sensor is it? You got any loose wires knocking about?

Was it towards the rear 1/4 of the cat? There's two places u can put the lamba sensor on the 92-93 cats 1 at the front n 1 at the back. Same thug happened to mine. Just get some1 to weld the hole up for ya. U find that the crap noise will go, there b more power n ur fuel economy will b much better!!

+1 especially if the hole is perfectly round and has threads on the inside of it. Either weld it up or try and find a plug that will fit it. Some garages carry these as ive used sump plugs in the past with the same thread on them.

We had this on a cabby at work. Hole, deffo not for the lambda on the cat, no threads and causing a noise. Really strange.  :undecided:

drill and tap it out then stick a bolt in there if you haven't got access to a welding plant.
