The OP stated the windows steamed up.... i would say steamed up is very different to condensation.... no ?

Any water / moisture in the car will lead to windows steaming up

Just an update, got a new seal for the aerial and now the inside no longer steams up, so looking like that was the culprit :)

for anyone else needing one this is the one I used, quick 5 minuite job just 1 bolt under the lining accessable from the boot

5 quid for a bit of rubber! christ I'm getting tight! you could just get a tap seal ring for like a quid, that would work fine as well
