converting cable to hydro clutch

I'm aware you can convert the 8v cable clutch to a hydraulic clutch by fitting the master and slave cylinders from a 16v, which I have purchased. As its getting close to the time I need to fit it, I've realised I actually have no idea how it works!

I know the master has a clip on the piston that attaches to the back of the clutch pedal, but how does the rest of the setup attached?

theres a metal hydro pipe between the master and the slave, and a small section of flexi pipe from the side of the brake fluid reservoir to the clutch master cylinder. you may have the nipple on your old reservoir thats blanked off, you snip the blanky bit off the end then pop the pipe on. if its not there, then go scrappy hunting

Yup, and you do realise you need a hydro box right? The 020 is not.

lol yeah I'm not that clueless though I may come across that way 

I'm converting to hydro when I put in the 1.8t and 02a box

Going from memory as they been in teh garage at mt dads for a while, I think I have the metal pipe attached to the master and I can get the flexi pipe from somewhere, how is it all actually held in place though does it bolt to something?

iirc its clipped into the plastic brake lines with like a double clip?

bolts and nuts, its easy to figure out when you have the parts
