I was only joking mate, there not actually that bad around a track. Have you already got collies for it? I would just make sure that the car is running absolute spot on before you take it on, yeah the suspension will defo help but when you put it on make sure you run the collies in first, i would put them on at the standard height and run them for a bit until they are bedded in then slower it, when yoou lower if make sure you get the thracking and camber soorted too as this will change. As long as the suspension is set up spot on too then yoou already have a good engine and should have a lot of fun. Check that you breaks are also in good condition, engine is running good, boosts ok, airfilter clean and oil is clean and at the rite level.

Are you looking to just have a bit of fun or planning on doing it on a more reg basis??? If more reg then you need to get yourself onto the track section of the forum which would help you a lot more to set your car up

Finding and replacing and worn bushes will be a much better way to spend time and money, as well as a full alignment session, instead of p*ssing about nailing cheap, sh*tty coilovers into it.

Make sure you have plenty of meat on your brake pads.

Make sure you have plenty of meat on your tyres and they're not ling long specials.

Make sure you don't have any fluid leaks.

Take everything loose out of your car (including your girlfriend).
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Pads

brake fluid replaced

oil change

T1-R's & 4 wheel laser alignment (not at kwikfit)

Fix any leaks

Enjoy. Prepare to be addicted.

Good call on the brake fluid from Chris.

Check the bushes and suspension for play all round - track driving will flush any weaknesses out.
