How long does it take to do an engine swap?

But seeing as I'm only 20 and a student with no NCB, funds are limited and I'm already paying loads for insurance with an 8v.

Its pretty easy (rusty/rounded bits ignored).

It took me about 2 hrs to remove the old engine, and about 8 hrs to remove the manual rack, install the PAS rack, drop the engine+box in. Granted, I was on my own, in the middle of winter.

With 2 people, you could get away with doing it in 2-5 hrs.

Tools Required: 8mm XYZ Key, 17mm Sump Key, Jack, Axel Stands, Full Socket and Spanner Set, Engine Crane
