Best car on the market at the moment for me.

As an every day car it does everything it needs to and in a certain understated style.

No fuss, no drama, just gets on with it.

Fast, comfortable, practical, well built, decent fuel economy, good looking and still making me smile well over a year later.

Now just need to find a woman with the same qualities.......

Brilliant.  9/10
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

My Mrs had a 120d Msport and the suspension was shocking - you wont need new teeth when you go over bumps in a golf.

My Mrs has a 120i M Sport Cabrio - and I have the same problem with feeling every bump on the road.  I've started to think part of it has to do with the run-flat tyres - which make you feel pot holes so much?

Knocked her up so it had to go before I found out - It's terrible isn't it!

Unfotunatly I never got around to trying non runflats as my wife Helen whom I adore fell pregant during our ownership of said BMW so we sold it to buy her a 5 door car more suitable for a mother and offspring.

That's the spirit, beautifully put Doc

My dad had a 120i M Sport and yes the ride over any bumps was terrible, back breaking! He only kept it a couple of years and traded in for the new 330D sport which is a far better car in every way and the ride is no problem even with 19" run flat tyres.

Aaaa ... all sweetness and light. Such a lovely gesture. You are up there in my estimation.

Love the name Helen.
