please help jvc kw-avx830

iv just put this stereo in my mk4 golf, it is a v6 4motion 2000 plate

but every time i turn the car off and take the key out the clock goes back to 00:00

and the screen goes back to the original screen

i can not stop it doing this, i have tried over and over again

is it broke or have i done something wrong, it just does not remember the settings iv put it on

any advice please     cheers

swap the red and yellow wires round on the back of the stereo problem solved

[new to vw]

As above bud...really simple to do/fix
