hoping for some advice, ive just rebuilt my AHF 110 GTTI after a snapped timing belt, upon cranking the engine, it seems there is no fuel getting to the cylinders.... the fuel pump is set to the right position but nothing is coming through the injectors
is it possible that there is just a big air lock?
im thinking i can either fill the fuel filter up (as it seems empty) or just bypass it altogether to get it started......
im kind of at the end of my tether with this car, ive taken 2 weeks off work to sort this, and im back to work on monday, and really need the TDI as i commute 80 miles a day,
one of the valves MAY be slightly bent still, as the tappet pops up an makes a loud click when the engine is turned over by hand, but it should still turn over i would have thought, (im not really that mechanically minded, but have done a fair bit,)
any advice?
