Hey guys,
Just got my car back after a few months of it being in storage. I thought i'd go around the car and repair what ever, im having a little bit of bother with the left side electric window. It was siezed when i bought it so i took the door pannel off to see whats what, i checked the power going into the window motor and that was fine. So i wondered if the motor was seized, but the motor seemed to be working fine.
Which then brought the blame down to the window itself, for this i reffered to the Haynes for some directions of how to unstick it and it said i should undo the three bolts of the guide rail (which i did), i then gave it a wiggle around and then the window came loose. BUT then i made a schoolboy error (although i am 14 :embarassed:) and without attatching the guide rail tried the window again, it wouldn't go down but it went up past the motors limit so then i have no way of getting it down because theres so much tension on the motor. Or reattatching the guide rail.
Is there anyway of releasing the tension on the motor? Or bringing the window down manually? Sorry if this isn't very clear but can't really explain it without showing people directly :embarassed: Also for bad spelling but you'll get the jist

Cheers Tom.
