porsche rims?
« on: 19 October 2006, 21:58 »
Hiya

Im casing some porsche rims on e-bay at the mo, 7x16 front and 8x16 rear, other than adaptors will i need any mods to get them to fit? (rolled arches etc) Also what size tyres do you think?

Car is a mk2 Jetta GTI Valver standard height at the mo but about to be dropped 60mm.

Cheers for any help

you need to make sure you are getting the correct offset porsche wheels. your looking about et52 if i remember correctly.

this offset with adpaters allows you to run them without any arch rolling/cutting

regardless of tyres i think from what ive read that with 60mm lowering and 8" width especially with that offset ur gonna have to roll the arches. im going to do mine myself , gonna cut away the arch then seam weld them , then G60 arches with the inner lip cut away should do the job.

  • If in doubt, pay someone else to do it!
