Remote Central Locking
« on: 12 March 2010, 14:29 »
Help! Sorry if it's a repost, but i did search and couldn't find anything!

Basically whats happened is, i unlocked my VR using the fob, took my old head unit out and pulled up the side strips near the door because there were wires hanging out. Then i decided enough was enough and i should get some food. Closed the door and pressed the button to close the door but nothing happened!

I don't even know where to start as i've never had Remote locking and wouldn't know where to start looking!

Thanks in advanced!

alarm system fitted? or just remote closing kit? does c/l still work off the key? sounds like you disturbed some wires/connectors down in the footwell area?

Central Locking control box is usually located behind the glovebox (or may be the passenger airbag if you have one). I would remove the lower passenger dash trim or lower glovebox if you have that and have a look up there buddy.      Cheers     Deano
