BEST 6X9's??

i have been installing and setting up audio for 9 years odd, i know what works for me and what i could do IF i wanted to.

Then for gods sake at least lose the speakers in the dash, man up and tweeter up on the pillars! oh and hurry with the amp for the fronts and brand new tweeters you are going to get.

I know what you mean about standard... that went out the window though after a few years.

I also feel you with the who you know.
my system (ATM) new would of cost just shy of 3k (estimate), bargains and it has cost me under 1.

at some point ill probably swap out the fronts for a decent set of components. tweeters will be going in custom pods where the OE dash speaker grilles were, aimed correctly mind.

As it stands at the moment, it sounds good enough, and as its my 2nd vehicle, it wont be used much anyways.

besides, for now, my main concern is getting the engine running 100% again,  tunes in the car aint much use if i cant drive it anywhere!
