its in the scuttle area close to the ecu, 1 end of it goes to the ecu plug, the other runs to the fusebox. if pump still runs with this disconnected then you've deffo had a bit of wire bodgery there! I'd take the main scuttle trim off and follow the loom as best you can, hopefully the problem will become obvious. look all over the engine loom for insulation tape, usually a clue that something has been repaired. I say repaired, but I've yet to remove a bit of tape to find a nicely done fit, its usually covering something horrible
