Out of curiosity, if the accident is the other persons fault, can you claim a replacement car to a similar standard to what you are used to (on their insurance) even although you have a "replacement car" on your own current car insurance?

Cheers.

Sorry to see this mate,  Our lass was gutted when she saw it! she had a look when I dropped the mic off that day.

Im in the same boat at the moment I got side swipped into a curb the other day by a women in a merc slk!!! she said she didn't see me so Ive now got similar damage to your golf but only front wing both front wheels and small bit on side of front bumper.

Im going through Albany Assistance who have said they will supply a car of similar spec to mine  bring on the GTI/R32 cos they wont get a spec like mine...I've more or less built my own spec

Dont let it spoil your Xmas mate have a good one

Darren

Cheers Darren,

Sorry to hear about your bump also. Hopefully they will sort you out a decent car, as they do say same spec but give you whatever is within that range. Lots of careless/stupid drivers out there at the moment hopefully they will get your car looking back to its best

As long as no one was hurt, thats the most important thing

Have a good one pal!

yes.. there is a number of questions you have to answer and then sign.. but if your using your car and dont have access to another then you are entitled to another car of similar range.
