I think you need a complete replacement dizzy. I had this problem on my 2.0 16 Rado and just got a good used Dizzy instead and problem solved.

Thanks for the reply Nick.

Do you know roughly how much this is going to cost me!?

I called my local dealers, and they quoted 89+VAT for it. I even checked that it was a seperate part, and they confirmed it was.

You can change them but it is fiddly and complicated, you will need to drive a pin out which will require a punch a large hammer and a lot of force. You will probably damage something else whilst doing this. As Nick says you could probably get a recon one for less, or try your luck and buy secondhand.
How do you know your hall sender is faulty?

Well, I replaced the ECU with a non-immob. earlier version, and the car now starts [albeit under full throttle] and runs for about 10mins then just cuts out! No chugging, just cuts out.

I called the auto electrician who advised me that my ECU was shot, and when I described the symptoms, he said it was the hall sender that needed replacing.

What is weird though, it that although I have fitted an ECU that doesnt have an immob. I still need to disable it before my ignition lights come on. This would mean that its actually an aftermarket immob. right?

God I'm crap at this sort of thing!
