had new jamex lowering springs on my old rover and after 18 months they were knackered. car was sitting MUCH lower that it should have been, and ride was terrible! mostly me and one passenger, no fatties!
then got a GMAX full lowering kit (shocks and springs) and they were very harsh.
had GSF springs on my old mk2 daily and they were fine
cant remember what brand they were though
