Hi.
Does anyone know what the timing of my 1996 Mk3 golf Gti 8v needs to be adjusted from/to so I can benifit from Super Unleaded 97 ron unleaded?

You do not need to adjust the timing to use super, you only need to retard the timing for 95Ron normal unleaded. However timing problems only happen with older mechanical fuel injection systems, not on yours as this fully electronic system. You cannot make adjustments on your system even if you wanted to. So you are ok to use normal unleaded or super. You will benefit from using super by doing nothing at all!

Golfs in general usually run much better on Super.
