In a earlyer post I mentioned that I have a problem with rubbing on the front wheels , its only if I go over a bump  and its on the very edge of the tyre (205/40/17) and Im wondering if I fit a pair of 185/35/17's on the front that it will cure the problem? also whats it going to look like? is that too much of a stretch?
Or another idea I had was to fit 185/35/17's all round a really deck the car??

i ment 185 soz my bad.....

when i done mine on my mk2 i took the acrhes of and used a drimmal hand held router with a little cutting disc on it and just cut of 5mm to 7mm if you look under the arch the plastic trim sticks out from the arch a little.

either take them of or run a drimmel over the inside of the arch trimming of the plastic and use the metal work as a guide but it could take some paint of tho so better to mark a line with a stanly blade  while there on then remove...
