sounds like the problem i had with my 8v a couple of years ago! it turned out to be the wiring inside the rubber boot between the drivers door and the car body! pull back the rubber boot and look for wires that are broken and are intermittently contacting! i found two wires that were broken and must have been touching on and off when the car was moving!
