if it was it wouldnt sound like a dump valve, it would be big BANG, followed by lots of black smoke and loss of power

so no point at all in replacing oem one as its up to the job no matter remapped or not? and no one on here with a deisel has one?
this is the last questions am asking guys thanks so far for replies

diesels DO NOT have a dump valve anyway!

when you come off the throttle you can here the boost dump

yes when come off to change gear if i dont and just take foot off the whoosh/whistle noise just fades
