if it was it wouldnt sound like a dump valve, it would be big BANG, followed by lots of black smoke and loss of power

1 more question on this if i have no dv on my deisel why can i hear i whistle them dump ?

when you come off the throttle you can here the boost dump

yes when come off to change gear if i dont and just take foot off the whoosh/whistle noise just fades
