Thanks B-chi,  wasn't going to comment any more on this thread as i felt like i was banging my head against a brick wall  :laugh:

I've been down the 6 by 9 and sound all around route as a youngster but now i know better  :wink:

I know mate. I've had boxes with no base, house speakers off hu.

Then moved upto 6x9s being ripped apart by subs & wondering why new 6x9s strting farting?

Well in all fairness you points may be correct but he isnt going to spend thousands and thousands of pounds on a freaking sound system for a car to enter in SQ competitions so speakers in the back are a must!

Its all what your preference is at the end of the day but I'm more then happy to have speakers all round, pretty much like every standard car does these days. I think Redtek is too *Thumbs*

As you say bud, personal preference. My own system is by no means high end bud I do prefer the sound that comes from just front speakers.

Updating rears to me would be a waste of money. They don't influence the music enough to warrant money being spent on them. But it's down to preference. I found out which I preferred after spending money I could of spent on fronts on the rear.
