rear dust shields(brake disc)

does any one no were i can get the dust shields that go behind the rear brake discs on a mk1 golf gti with disc converstion

No, if yours is a conversion, and if your mk1 has rear disks it will be, they wouldn't have made dust covers for a Mk1 because they were not original - try fitting Mk2 items.  Why do you want these ? They reflect heat back onto the disk and pad ?

all it was is that i took the brakes off the rear axle to get it powder coated(the axle) and the dust shields were nackered so i wanted another set to but back on and i dont real drive the car enough for the rear brakes to get that hot just to shows and things and it the mk2 items i trying to get

You need mk2 ones.

Depends on what calipers you have, the part number changed from 87-88 on the MK2. The early MK2 part number is the same as the scirocco 16v shields, then the later MK2 ones had a different part number.
