hello folks,

As i'm going to be replacing my injectors soon, i'm wondering is it worth buying just the nozzles (bosio) or is it best to replace the entire injector?

Thanks

Send em off to be overhalled then change the nossle or fit new ones,  but be warned,  a new set of stoc injectors  for my TDi was £650...   So depends how your doing it,  if you are fitting them out of a diffrent vehical just stick the whole thing in, but still have them tested and cleaned, and rememeber you cannot mix the order they came out,  and fitting them to a diffrent engine is  a bit of a no no but usualy is ok.

What is involved in the overhauling? Forgive my ignorance but if the injectors are working then great, I can just replace the nozzles right?

Personally i would do both,  overhalling them will clean them, test them and re-adjust,  otherwise its putting old parts back on and who knows how long they will last ?!

If you replace the whole thing with new parts obviously it would be fine.
