I'm referring to having spacers on your wheels!!

not if they are of the hubcentric fitting as these are bolted to the hub and have a locating collar to fit inside the hub lip i'm running 15mm hubcentric spacers on the rear and have no problem what so ever  :wink:

As long as they're hubcentric you should have no problems. Adaptors to change the PCD are a different matter because they have to use stubby countersunk bolts to the hub.

Just remember to get longer wheel bolts if you're spacing more than 5mm.

As long as they're hubcentric you should have no problems. Adaptors to change the PCD are a different matter because they have to use stubby countersunk bolts to the hub.

Just remember to get longer wheel bolts if you're spacing more than 5mm.

Get new bolts anyway, I had 5mm spacers fitted with standard bolts and they only went in 4 turns and caused wheel wobble. got new bolts now turn in 9 turns and no wobble  :smiley:

Yes you should always take the thickness of the spacer and add that to the length of the bolt,std VW wheel bolt has a 28mm thread so 5mm spacer requires at least a 33mm thread.

I run 5mm up front and 20mm on the rear,hoping to lose them soon if i can get my custom wheels made to suit :lipsrsealed:
